The National Council on

We are a twenty-five year old, expanding
non-profit with clinical positions available throughout the State
including Essex, Passaic, Atlantic and Camden Counties. Responsibilities
include treatment assessments, locating, coordinating, placing and
monitoring necessary and appropriate substance abuse treatment services
for recipients.
These positions require a counseling related
Masters or Bachelors as well as a CADC/LCADC and at least one year of
addictions experience. Excellent salary, health and other benefits. No
nights or weekends. 35 hours week, flex schedule and generous

Community Organizing/Advocacy/Outreach
| We are looking for an intern/volunteer interested in policy and
advocacy to work on a voter registration initiative. We do a tremendous
amount of work in policy and advocacy for prevention, treatment and
recovery from addiction. We are looking to build up our constituency and
strengthen our community organizing and outreach efforts. Start and end
dates are flexible, but the position can begin immediately. The
intern/volunteer must make a commitment of at least 3–4 months.
