Recovery Walk Video
For those who were unable to come to the Recovery Walk
this year, NCADD-NJ has produced a 6 minute video highlighting the
event, with speakers and interviewed participants talking about
the importance of this annual celebration.

2004 Recovery Walk Draws 1,500
The after effects of Hurricane Ivan produced a blustery sky and
high winds carrying a chill from the north, but the elements did
little to darken the mood of the 1,500 people who on Sept. 18 came
to Liberty State Park for New Jersey's third
annual Recovery Walk. Many of them, after all,
had already been through the turbulence of addiction.

celebrates addiction recovery Sept. 19, 2004 - When comedian
Chris Farley died of a drug overdose in 1997, his humor lived on
in "Saturday Night Live" skits, from characters ranging from an
obese Chippendale dancer to a pathetic motivational speaker who
lived in a van down by a river.

Recovery Advocates go to Capitol Hill
New Jersey recovery advocates shared their experiences meeting with
Senator, Jon Corzine (D-NJ), when they came to Washington, DC in
September for the 60th anniversary of NCADD.
