The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD)-New Jersey promotes the prevention and treatment of, and recovery from, alcoholism and drug addiction through advocacy and education. We support the recovery of alcoholics, drug addicted individuals and their families and work to reduce the stigma surrounding the diseases of alcoholism and drug addiction. The agency formulates public policy initiatives and advocates for legislation and regulations that are in keeping with a public health approach to the diseases of alcoholism and drug addiction. In our public information efforts, we underscore the fact that alcoholism and drug addiction are treatable and preventable illnesses. Family Violence Option Initiative Case Managers-Clifton, Newark, Robbinsville and Camden 

The Case Manager provides in-person and web-based secure video Family Violence Option (FVO) Risk Assessments, safety plans, and service plans that are designed to lead to employment-directed activities to the extent that engaging in employment does not endanger the individual.  

Must be a Master’s Level Social Worker, Counselor, Advanced Practice Nurse, Psychologist, and be a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker,  LCADC, or hold other related clinical license. Certification in domestic violence training strongly preferred.  At least 1.5 years of direct experience working with individuals impacted by domestic violence, knowledge of trauma, substance use, and mental health disorders strongly preferred. Must have extensive assessment and case management experience. 

Must be able to work across organizational boundaries in order to obtain services from various agencies that collaborate with WFNJ recipients, welfare caseworkers, DCP&P, the legal system and the domestic violence service providers and shelters, in the development of a service plan.

Family Violence Option Initiative Quality Assurance Specialist-Robbinsville

The Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) is responsible for ensuring that clinical and administrative processes are conducted in accordance with the Family Violence Option (FVO) policies and procedures in order to meet the contractual obligations required by the Department of Human Services, Division of Family Development (DFD), and that client data is recorded and documented to ensure compliance and client safety. The QAS is responsible for promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the FVO; thereby, ensuring cost effective and consistent Case Management of the highest standards. 

Must hold a Master’s Degree in a related field of study with a minimum of 2 years experience with the direct responsibilities of clinical quality assurance, policy compliance, and goal-driven programmatic outcomes. Behavioral Health & Substance Abuse Care Coordinators

NCADD-NJ has clinical positions available located in Atlantic and Camden Counties. Duties include behavioral health/substance abuse assessments and treatment referrals. Candidates must have a Master’s and LPC, LCADC or LCSW or have made significant progress toward one of these licenses and have extensive applied knowledge of ASAM Criteria, 3rd Ed. and the DSM 5. Human Resources Assistant-PT

NCADD-NJ has a part time position located in Robbinsville, NJ. Must have at least two years of prior experience in a Human Resources Department. Must be able to work between 18-24 hours per week, no weekends or evenings. Duties include assisting with the onboarding process, open enrollment, special projects and providing general administrative assistance to the HR Manager. Must have basic knowledge of principles and procedures of human resources administration and applicable state and federal laws. Must have good planning and organizational skills. Must practice confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people. If you are looking for a casual and laid back office environment, this might just be the perfect fit.
