Had it not been for Crawford House, a halfway house for women in Skillman, Sue Cooper would not be here today. After a nearly lifelong battle with alcoholism, had lost her home, her job and her children. In an article in the Princeton Packet, Ms. Cooper said, ”I never knew how to ask for help,.” “I was a strong and independent woman. I thought I could do this myself, but this is one thing you can’t do on your own. I didn’t know how to do it just going to AA and doing it outpatient.” Enter Crawford House – where women rebuild their lives one brick at a time.
