Prescription drug abuse still on the rise in towns

Cedar Grove police recently reported a consistent spike in leisure use of pharmaceutical drugs, continuing to identify the problem as the most serious threat facing the township. The police department's annual report shows a 42 percent increase in arrests for prescription fraud from 2009 to 2010, a report in the Verona-Cedar Grove times said.
